The Lore of GURT

Nobody knows exactly where Gurt came from.

There was no launch. No grand arrival. No prophecy.

One day, somewhere on the internet, Gurt simply appeared.

A strangely happy frog with enormous eyes, an even larger smile, and Hyperliquid permanently reflected in his pupils.

Nobody invited him.

Nobody has been able to get him to leave.

Just a Frog

Before Hyperliquid, Gurt lived a relatively normal life.

At least, as normal as life can be for Gurt.

He spent most of his time near a small pond, catching flies, sitting on rocks, and staring at things for unusually long periods of time.

Gurt didn't know what a blockchain was.

He didn't know what leverage was.

He certainly didn't know what a liquidation price was.

Then somebody left a laptop near the pond.

That was the beginning of the problem.

Gurt discovered the internet.

Shortly afterward, Gurt discovered Hyperliquid.

He stared at the screen.

The screen stared back.

Something changed inside him that day.

The Eyes

Nobody knows why Gurt's pupils look the way they do.

Some believe he stared at Hyperliquid for so long that the logo permanently burned itself into his eyes.

Others believe he was born this way.

Gurt has never clarified.

Whenever somebody asks, he usually just blinks.

Researchers have therefore classified the phenomenon as:

probably fine.

Life After the Pond

Gurt still considers himself an ordinary frog.

Unfortunately, his definition of "ordinary" has become increasingly questionable.

He goes camping, but brings his laptop.

He goes fishing, but somehow ends up watching charts.

He goes to the club and stands completely motionless in the middle of the dance floor drinking juice.

He has been spotted wandering convenience stores at 3:47 AM for reasons nobody understands.

At one point, Gurt even got a job at McDonald's.

He had no experience.

He received very little training.

He appeared perfectly satisfied.

Nobody knows if he still works there.

These sightings have become increasingly common.

Wherever Gurt goes, Hyperliquid seems to follow.

Gurt's Philosophy

Despite everything, Gurt isn't particularly interested in becoming rich.

He doesn't talk about price targets.

He doesn't pretend to know what happens next.

He doesn't sell courses.

Gurt's investment philosophy appears to consist of three fundamental principles:

green goodred happensribbit

Perhaps there is wisdom in this.

Perhaps there isn't.

He's a frog.

The Pond Remains

Every once in a while, Gurt disappears.

The laptop closes.

The charts stop moving.

Nobody sees him online.

Eventually, someone finds him back at the pond.

Sitting on the same rock.

Watching flies drift over the water.

For a brief moment, Gurt remembers the life he had before perpetual futures.

Then his laptop makes a notification sound.

His enormous eyes widen.

And he returns.

GURT

Gurt isn't a trader.

Gurt isn't an analyst.

Gurt isn't a guru.

Gurt is a frog.

He likes flies.

He likes ponds.

He likes juice boxes.

And for reasons beyond human understanding,

Gurt likes Hyperliquid.
